The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History Offers Free Admission to Veterans this Veterans Day

[Albuquerque, NM]— In honor of Veterans Day, the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History offers free admissions to veterans, active duty, and retired military personnel on Monday, November 11, 2024. A valid veteran or military ID is required. Accompanying family members will receive a discounted rate of $12.00 per person.

Veterans will be able to visit the Museum's exhibits for free. The exhibits showcase the Atomic Age, from early development to today's peaceful uses of nuclear technology. A highlight of the Museum is the nine-acre exhibit area, Heritage Park, showcasing historically significant decommissioned planes, bombs, and missiles.

"It is with deep gratitude that we welcome Veterans to the museum on a day that honors their service and sacrifice," says Jennifer Hayden, President and CEO of the Nuclear Museum. "This token of our appreciation to the men and women who have stepped up and fought for our freedom is our way of saying, "Thank You," to them."
