      Does your child have a million "whys"? At the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, we turn those questions into hands-on STEAM adventures. Our PreK-6 camps aren’t just about finding answers—they’re about building, creating, and discovering the "wow" factor in the world around us.

      • Who: Curious explorers in grades PreK-6
      • When: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (With FREE before & after care from 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM!)
      • Cost: $380 per 5-day week | $304 per 4-day week
      • What to Bring: Closed-toe shoes, two snacks, a lunch, and a refillable water bottle.

      Financial Aid Camp Scholarship
      A limited number of scholarships are available for our camps to assist families with financial need. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis while funds last.       Blast off to the edges of the universe! Campers will investigate black holes, explore the mysteries of space, and train like astronauts. From designing rovers to dreaming of life on new planets, they’ll push the boundaries of what’s possible.

      WEEK 2 June 8-12, 2026
      Game Time!

      Level up at Game Time! In this week-long science camp, students become game designers, exploring the physics, coding, and strategy behind their favorite play. Through hands-on engineering and game-theory challenges, campers will sharpen their critical thinking and build their own games from the ground up.

      Cryptid Camp

      Bigfoot, sea monsters, and creatures of mystery—oh my! Campers will investigate legendary beasts through the lens of science, separating fact from folklore with experiments, fieldwork, and imagination. Can science explain the unexplainable? Come and find out! This is a four-day camp.

      Atomic Adventures

      Discover the building blocks of the universe at Atomic Adventures! This week-long camp zooms down to the atomic scale, where campers explore how atoms bond, react, and shape our world. Through hands-on chemistry demos, molecular modeling, and safe experiments with energy and radioactivity, students will unlock the big mysteries hidden within the smallest particles.

      Step right up to the greatest carnival you’ve ever built! Campers will design and engineer games, create artful attractions, and bring the midway to life with a mix of science, technology, and creativity. At this carnival, everyone is both the inventor and the player.

      Cirque du Science

      Step under the big top at Cirque du Science! In this high-energy, week-long camp, science takes center stage as students explore the physics of the circus. From the center of mass required for tightrope walking to the momentum of juggling, campers use engineering and experiments to master the "impossible" and discover the science behind every stunt.

      Hoist the sails for a week of ocean adventures! Campers will search for hidden treasure, chart new maps, and dive into the science of the seas. From plankton to pirate lore, every day is an exploration of the wonders above and below the waves. This is a four-day camp.
